If you are a Mumbaikar, you might have a fair idea of the various moods of Aamchi Mumbai. Especially during the monsoon, when its impossible to predict when it might begin to rain. There are days when it is completely dry then there are days when its impossible to even leave your house.
One such day was 21 July. It was Monday and it was one of those when it rains really very hard. Unaware of this me and my few friends had planned to meet at our college to collect our marksheet of final year.
It was supposed to be a sort of reunion since none of us had seen each other for a long time. Pandey was coming all the way from Gujarat for collecting marksheet. But the rains of the Mumbai had another plans for us. The plan was to meet at the college around 1:30 pm since the marksheet distribution would start at the same time. Around 10 am one of my friends Pranesh Tripathi (who is quite awesome ) called me to inform that the Mumbai's lifeline Local trains were irregular due to the water-logging of the tracks. Some trains were fully cancelled and other were delayed by atleast 30 minutes. He asked me if I was still going to collect the marksheet.
I called Pandey to know about his whereabouts. He told me that his train was 2 hrs late and he will be able to make it to kandivali station at 1 pm. I called my other friends and they all were coming to college by bus or by auto. Unlike them I had only one option that of catching the train. I still had few hours time to go to College. So I decided to wait for the conditions to improve and prayed to heavens.

At around 1 O'clock, I left home and after reaching station I came to know that trains are really running late. Somehow I caught any train and reached Borivali and caught another slow train for Kandivali. Pandey and Bachhi were continuously calling me while I was in train to ask where I have reached. I reached Kandivali station at 1.50 and met Pandey. We caught auto and finally we reached college. In college we met with Bachhi and Kode.
We collected our Final Year Marksheet. Bachhi was busy in writing his application for something...as usual he did throughout 4 years. Here Pandey was ready for moving out from college because he had some plan for meeting with someone. We left Bachhi and and reached at F2 (Franky wala). Pandey ordered three franky, gave money and left from there thinking that he may get late for the meeting. Kode and I ate franky but Bachhi was inside college. So we told uncle to parcel this franky and we went back to college for Bachhi.
When we reached college, Pranesh and Tiger started doing call that we should take their marksheet also but the counter were closed at time. I told both of them to collect their marksheet on some another day. Here Bachhi was still busy in his work, this time he went to take printout of some document. Finally after doing everything we decided to leave and we left. Now another task, Kode was having work at Tata Docomo Gallery so we went there. But when we reached and enquire we came to know that this work switching from postpaid to prepaid is not done here. For this work, we three decided to go Kandivali station together.
We were waiting for the bus and at the same time, busy in talking also... Many buses for Kandivali station gone but we didn't went in any of them. Finally one bus came, we took decision to go in this and here what happened two buses came back to back, out of which, our bus was behind and here Bachhi alone caught the wrong bus...As soon as he entered, bus started and we didn't got time also to tell him that he took a wrong bus....So Kode and I entered in bus and we got down at Thakur House, then completed kode's work in Gallery.
After completing all work, Kode and I reached Kandivali station by walking and finally.....we both caught our train and here journey for collecting Final Year Marksheet from college ended this way.
