Two months back I received one email regarding job, I read the job description and applied for the same. Surprisingly my resume was selected and next day HR called me for the interview process at HRMantra Software Pvt. Ltd.
I went to office as per scheduled time. After reaching office, I submitted my resume at reception counter and saw 3 more candidate were waiting for the interview. There I saw one employee (may be team leader or manager & was explaining something to other employees with laptop in his hand). I was eagerly waiting for my name as I was the last one to be called out for interview. After sometime HR called me for interview.
Interview Process
1. HR Round :- HR asked me all basic questions like Tell me about yourself, What is your strength and weakness ?, Why you left previous job ?, What do you know about this company ?. I answered every questions politely and then HR informed me about the company, job profile and also about the salary structure. I told "Yes I am comfortable with this job" , then she asked me to wait outside for the next round.
2. Manager Round :- I went inside the cabin. Oh ! what I saw ? The interviewer was that same employee whom I saw while waiting at the reception counter. He asked some basic questions about myself, previous job, college project. I answered all these questions. Then he gave me a puzzle to solve, he kept one AC Remote on table and asked me 20 other uses of this remote apart from controlling the AC. I heard this question first time ever in my life (May be Manager wants to check my thinking ability !). 3. Final / Technical Round:- Interviewer asked some questions like What is Protocol ?, Explain DHCP, HTTP, TCP/IP, IMAP, etc. and some more questions. Exactly I don't remember all questions now. He also asked me about blogging (because while introducing myself to HR, I also spoke about blogging as my interest/hobbies) . Laptop was kept on his table, so he told "Show me your blog ?". He started asking questions about blogging, so I explained everything very nicely. He was impressed with my blog. At last he asked me , "So you are ready to join immediately ?". I told "Yes Sir".
I was waiting for my result. After some time, HR came and told, "Congrats Vijay ! You are Selected". Then she explained me about the salary, job timing, about 2 years bond also. Since I have one year wok experience, so asked HR for little increment in salary. HR told, "OK ! Let me speak to my manager about this. She told me to leave for the day and will inform you on email about salary & joining".
I was very happy about my performance and knew that they will increase my salary. Thank God ! My wish came true, that evening HR did call to my mobile number and told that your salary has been increased & you can join us from tomorrow.

I was happy that finally I got this job, but... after receiving the above email, I saw there was no increment in salary as per my expectations. I thought there might be some mistake in Offer Letter so I spoke to HR about this but she told this is final there won't be any change. I was little disappointed even after selection. No increment in Salary plus 2 years bond with the company, that's why I have rejected that offer.
