Run to the Moon Challenge 2020

I know it is little difficult to move out and play your favorite sports specially outdoor activities during this pandemic period of COVID- 19. This gave us a time to be with our family but at same time people have gained some more weight by enjoying all delicious food at home. Some fitness freaks have utilized this time to build strength & stamina by doing indoor workout, walk, run or stair case climbing. Proud to say that I am one of them who has utilized this lockdown period by doing indoor workout & exercises.

Lockdown cannot be forever, unlock phase started and now we could do some outdoor activities. I came across this Run to the Moon Challenge, a virtual event from 20th June 2020 to 20th July 2020. The rule was to walk / run minimum 2.5 Km & maximum 10 Km everyday. I registered for this virtual challenge organized by NEB Sports and started running.


I started outdoor running almost after 4 month because of this ongoing pandemic all over the world. I ran everyday during this challenge except 2 day walk for this virtual event. My pace was not the same as it was during regular running but I have utilized this challenge and build mileage which will help to improve my pace gradually.


After successfully completion of this challenge, I am surprised to find my name in Bumper Prize Winners Lists. 
Next is my 100 days of Running Challenge. Keep Smiling, Keep Running !
